Reanimation (or any other form of recursion you prefer) is great here because it doesnt explicitly rely on an active discard outlet to be its best
This card essentially gives you a repeatable sacrifice outlet for artifacts that also creates its own sacrificial fodder
Any counters that were on it won't be put on the new creature
