When one is flickered, it will always return as its front face, with the only exception being permanents with daybound and nightbound, which enter on the side corresponding to if it is currently day or night in the game

However, even just copying something like a Solemn Simulacrum for an extra bit of card draw and land ramp is more than worthwhile

It only works well in decks that discard plenty of cards and have other cards that work well from the graveyard
