Shiny Pokemon in the Pokemon TCG Pokemon TCG Pocket's inclusion of shiny Pokemon isn't totally unprecedented

It seems exceedingly unlikely that anywhere close to that number of boxes were opened, considering that back in 2014, the total revenue of the Magic brand was estimated to be somewhere around $250 million, which takes into account four big sets a year, supplemental products, and Magic Online , so there is no way a single set could bring in anywhere near $225 million

What makes it even more special is that the card was designed as a tribute to the original 1997 Pikachu trophy cards
